Front Royal Women’s Resource Center Hosts

“Finding Your Legacy – What Does Your Life Mean”

Front Royal, VA (June 10, 2016) – Wondering about your purpose? Feel like maybe life is passing you by without having significant meaning?  Ready to make a change, yet you do not know where to start?  Arlene Butler, a licensed clinical social worker with Old Fox Counseling will help you get started with a Women in Networking (WIN) event, “Finding Your Legacy – What Does Your Life Mean?” hosted by the Front Royal Women’s Resource Center. The free event will take place on Wednesday, June 22nd from 11:30-1:00 p.m.at the new Team Waller building, 213 E. Main Street, Front Royal.

The 20-year-old Front Royal Women’s Resource Center is well-known for its annual grant programs which provide area women and girls with scholarships and grants to support educational opportunities and professional development. Begun in 1999, the grant programs have provided nearly $80,000.00 to 115 recipients.

This winter, the FRWRC began hosting WIN events for women to further expand its outreach and provide women with opportunities to learn more about the Warren County community, support other women and develop stronger relationships.

“Our vision is to empower women to change their world,” said Barbara Way, president of the FRWRC. “The networking events have been a wonderful way for our organization to connect more women together to learn about our community and to encourage and support each other.”

The Women in Networking events will be held on a monthly basis and are open to all women in the Warren County community. Upcoming events can be found on the FRWRC website.

Participants are welcome to bring their own lunch to the June 22nd Women in Networking event, or lunch is available for purchase at the Daily Grind, right next door to the event location
