Description: Dawn Devine holds a Master’s of Education specializing in Medical Education and lectured medicine for 10 years before becoming a Dean of a private college. Which leads right into a job as a Director of a Children’s Museum, right? Stay tuned to hear more about how a passion for children and a firm belief in the power of parenting molded a 30 year career dedicated to championing the special needs of children.
A short bio: Dawn Devine hold’s a Master’s degree in Medical Education, a teaching licensure in Parent Education and won a list of awards as an educator and administrator. She has lectured medicine, written curriculum, served as a college Dean, opened a Children’s Museum and designed children’s museum exhibits for national educational organizations. She and her family moved to Virginia in 2019 to begin her role as the Executive Director for the Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum and have recently purchased a home here in Front Royal. She is excited to get to know the area better as they settle in.
