Ms. Jennings is an artist who received a Dare to Dream Grant for $500 in 2014 towards the cost of having prints made of her water and color paintings. She taught herself to paint while raising her family.She has taught painting classes in the area. Prints of her work have sold well at local festivals which helped supplement her income.

Ms. Jennings was awarded her second Dare to Dream Grant in 2016 for $200 towards publishing a book she wrote about her mother and her healing from Alzheimer’s.

Among her other talents and activities Ms. Jennings enjoys vegetable gardening, canning, writing and helping others.
