Women In Networking - Jun 23

Topic:  Blue Ridge Hospice - Caring for patients and families in their time of need with the power of presence, providing pain and symptom management, and dispelling the myths of Hospice is so important. I will share with you the many benefits of utilizing Hospice services at the end of life. Join us as we share how we can improve quality of life, when to call Hospice, and the importance of the interdisciplinary team.  This work is a blessing. Our organization wants the best for our patients, community members, and the employees who give their all each and every day.

More about Patty:

Patty Fadeley, Community Provider Liaison, started her rewarding position with Blue Ridge Hospice (a not-for-profit & Joint Commission accredited hospice organization) 4 years ago, servicing the territories nearest to her heart (Warren, Shenandoah and Page Counties).  Her work as a liaison allows her to be the “conduit” between Blue Ridge Hospice’s referring partners (i.e. nursing homes, assisted/independent living facilities, medical practices, hospitals) and BRH’s clinical team. Helping families and partners understand the importance & compassionate impact of hospice services is her most important focus. She began her senior-based marketing career in the Shenandoah Valley in 2010, following her family’s move from Florida, by working as Activities & Marketing Directors in assisted living facilities such as Greenfield of Woodstock & Strasburg, as well as Spring Arbor of Winchester. As a Board Member for the Shenandoah County Chamber, Patty is also chairperson for the Chamber’s Aging in Place Council.  Patty resides in Edinburg with her son, Will, dogs, Scarlett & Kiya and 6 outdoor cats.
