Gathering for its first in-person Dare to Dream breakfast award ceremony since the pandemic, the Front Royal Women’s Resource Center (FRWRC) awarded $12,000 in grant and scholarship money to 10 local women Thursday at the Shenandoah Valley Golf Club in Warren County.

“We had so many amazing, inspiring, community-minded women, many of whom have overcome huge challenges and are trying to move on and do better for themselves, their children, their families, and the community,” said Dare to Dream committee chair Joey Waters, noting that there were 22 applicants for grants this year.
